Mama Pads are easy to care for: Line a little trash can (I use a metal can) with one of our small drawstring wetbags. As you wear...throw dirties in your can. When you get ready to wash...throw them in your washer with a little Maggies or Chemical Free detergent. Do a Cold/Cold quick cycle. Then, a warm/cold sanitary wash. Then, dry. No need to wet pail or soak these...that just makes a mess, in my opinion. ***I have not had good luck washing these with my diapers...In My Opinion...don't mix dipes and Mama Pads in the wash.***
